I've been reading the Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb "in Death" series lately. I'm up to book 20, Remember When, which is Roberts & Robb both writing. Interesting bit of dueling personalities here. I'm not very far into it to comment.

I really like the Eve Dallas series, though. Nora has created a believable world, far enough into the future that the advances she's writing as factual could occur but not so far into the future that we don't recognize the world she's writing about. Eve is such a fascinating character to me. Each book I find myself more and more endeared to her. I like Roarke, but I do get tired of him forcing his will on her. Once in a while it would be fine, but he does it too frequently and it bugs me. The rest of the supporting cast I love: Peabody, McNabb, Feeney, Mavis, Leonardo, Nadine, etc. Very well written characters.

I haven't intentionally not posted, but when I went to the past couple of weekends posting my picks for the games it wouldn't take the posts. Frustrated, I forgot and blew it off. So, here I am. Woot!

What's new? Not a lot. Much of the same. It seems like it never goes anywhere most days.

Steph is doing well at her job. Claire is talking up a storm. It's fun to listen to her talk. She's fascinated by the stove and her reflection in the window of it. It's cute to watch her pose in front of it.

Otherwise, that's about it for us here in Fargo!
