YOU’VE NEVER READ TRUMAN CAPOTE?

“Electrifying...a knock out. Capote’s alacrity and cunning makes this his most enjoyable book.”—Newsweek

“An incomparable stylist and entertainer...clean and cool.”—The New York Times Book Review

It’s hard to pick a favorite work by a master like Capote. Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1958; Vintage, 1993) for its elegant humor? In Cold Blood (1965; 1994, Vintage) for its sharp intensity? Music for Chameleons may be the best pick. Classic reportage written with the flair of great fiction—if you’ve never read Capote, this is the natural place to start.
