11/12/1995:
After playing several games at Busch Stadium, the St. Louis (previously Los Angeles) Rams finally debut at their spanking-new $280 million Trans World Dome with a 28-17 win over the Carolina Panthers. Jim Miller throws a pair of touchdown passes and the Rams force six turnovers as pro football returns to the Gateway City for the first time since the Cardinals moved to Phoenix in 1988. Sadly, with the L.A. Raiders also moving back to Oakland this season, Los Angeles is left without an NFL franchise.
